Volleyball + Hockey = Med School Pong

When opposing team attempts to hit a 'set shot' the soon to be receiving team member can attempt to block the 'spike'. This can be accomplished by any means necessary. They can use the paddle, arms, chest, screaming, and a direct body check to setter or spiker is allowed to disrupt the shot. This is especially encouraged when receiving team is at game point and a successful 'set' shot would win the game.

This is a gamble! Only the returning player can do this. If block is missed, and shot enters into play, it is that persons turn to return the ball. Their teammate cannot return it.
